Dr. Tatsuo Kawai, the founder, Chairman of the Board, and President of TES College was awarded "The distinguished-service contributor commendation of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government in the Heisei 29 fiscal year (2017)" from Ms. Yuriko Koike, the Governor of Tokyo.
The award ceremony for honorary citizens of Tokyo and distinguished-service contributors' commendations was held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office on October 2, Heisei 29 (2017).
Ms. Tetsuko Kuroyanagi and another 3 persons were awarded as honorary citizens, and the commendation ceremony for the distinguished-service contributors followed.
Dr. Kawai received the commendation testimonial from Governor Koike directly, and he delivered a brief appreciation as the representative of 277 individual commendation recipients and 25 organizations.
